**Job Summary**:
Plan and manage the optimization of procurement of materials, services and inventory management. Supervise the purchasing activities, ensuring that the required products are supplied with desired specifications and on time, operations and capacity and managing the shipping operations, so as to ensure that these activities are in line with policies and procedures and service the needs of the project. Provide contract management advice to Source Machinery, ensuring that arrangements are in place for effective contract management.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the applied purchasing procedures are in line with company's policies.
- Monitor and supervise purchasing activities and procedures.
- Negotiate contract financial claims with suppliers and advice for settlement.
- Manage and oversee the procurement and contracting activities including outsourcing, vendor evaluation and selection, contract agreements and negotiations.
- Lead contract management activities including setting contract terms and conditions and contract change orders, contract cancelation, contract termination and contract close out procedures.
- Monitor the recorded quantities of received products and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure an effective relationship between the projects and key suppliers.
- Coordinate with the project QA/QC Officer to ensure that the purchased items and products are in compliance with the required specifications.
- Oversee the timely placement of purchase orders.
- Analyze purchasing requests, transactions and offers, determining the method of purchase and directing the processing of requisitions into purchase orderswithin the set limits.
- Identify & establish key relationships and partnerships with potential vendors and conducting negotiations in order to obtain the best prices and terms.
- Monitor price trends keeping departments aware of changes in materials markets or major suppliers' trends.
- Develop plans that aim at maintaining appropriate inventory levels, and working closely with suppliers to improve lead times and value adding services.
- Direct and oversee electrical engineering projects at construction sites, resolving issues and ensuring that work is completed according to specifications.
- Balance project management and engineering tasks ranging from designing electrical plans to monitoring contractors.
- Ensure that plans and work are completed according to local and national electrical codes.
- Conduct testing and maintenance on electrical systems, including inspections prior to job completion.
- Manage the performance of all team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
