**Overview**:
Saudi Aramco is seeking for a Senior Scientist to join their Exploration and Petroleum Engineering Advanced Research Center (EXPEC ARC). We are looking for professionals to conduct upstream research in the Productivity Enhancement Focus Area within the Production Technology Team. The position offers the opportunity to contribute in leading edge technology development in order to increase recovery, improve operational efficiency and reduce cost.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Engage with multi-disciplinary teams to identify well productivity enhancement challenges and provide solutions to fill the technology gaps. Initiate technology development proposals
Design, develop and formulate new fluids for enhancing the well productivity
Perform business case analysis for the need to develop new products
Develop and trial test new technologies in the field. Implement full-scale deployment of high-impact technologies
Write and publish technical papers
Prepare and present technical talks to highly technical audience
**Minimum Requirements**:
Hold a PhD degree either in chemistry, chemical engineering, petroleum engineering, or related fields. Studies and experience in chemical sciences including chemical synthesis, organic chemistry, and/or materials science is a plus
Have a minimum of 5 years related experience with demonstrated skills design and R&D of well productivity enhancement
Have an in-depth theoretical and hands-on knowledge of productivity enhancement performance evaluation techniques including rheology, formation damage and scale mitigation
Have history of technical publications and patents
