Locksmith

Performs all activities with the Locksmith trade. Implements the Hospital key control systems.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Implements the key control program through issuance and retrieval of keys.

2. Maintains records on all keys used in the Hospital and outside Housing Units, to include location of each lock.

3. Repairs and/or replaces broken locks of therein.

4. Duplicates keys, as needed.

5. During emergencies, opens lock through mechanical manipulation to include safes and cash registers.

6. Procures and maintains supply of lock, parts, blank keys, etc.

7. Re-keys locks in the entire Hospital Complex to a Hospital Master Keying System in accordance with the Hospital Standard locks.

8. Inspects contractors’ lock installation in new facilities to ensure the scope of work performed in accordance with the specifications.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree/Diploma in technical and vocational filed, or related discipline, or high School Education is required.

**Experience Required**:
No experience with Bachelor’s Degree, one (1) year of related experience with Associate Degree/Diploma, or three (3) years with high school is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Must have thorough knowledge of locking mechanisms and locks. ?
- Experienced with Russwin lock system currently used at the hospital is preferable. ?
- Must have a Saudi driving license (a driver’s license form country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi driver’s license).
