**Project Overview**:
Bechtel is supporting the development of The New Murabba Project Infrastructure, which will be built around the concept of sustainability, featuring green areas and promoting healthy, active lifestyles and community activities. It will feature an iconic museum, a university, an immersive theater, and more than 80 entertainment and culture venues. The project will cover an area of 19 square kilometers and accommodate hundreds of thousands of residents.
The project will offer more than 104,000 residential units, 9,000 hotel rooms, and more than 980,000 sqm of retail space, as well as 1.4 million sqm of office space, 620,000 sqm of leisure assets, and 1.8 million sqm of space devoted to community facilities.
The New Murabba project will offer a unique living, working and entertainment experience within a 15-minute walking radius and will have its own internal transport system.
**Responsibilities**:
- Liable for gathering and compiling data essential to the administration of (sub)contracts.
- Assists with implementation of contract administration procedures and coordinates or monitors the completion of administrative tasks.
- Monitors areas of contract performance as assigned.
- Gathers and compiles data for the preparation of documents and the administration of contracts.
- Assists Contract Manager or Contract Administrators in completion of the various administrative tasks required to effectively administer contract agreements.
- Conducts investigations and inquiries into specific contracts problems, as assigned.
- Organizes materials for the preparation of meetings, presentations, and training sessions.
- Assists in the preparation of periodic status reports.
**Job Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or other industry related field along with 1 - 5 + years of experience OR in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10+ years relevant work experience is required.
- Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of contract types, terms and legal requirements.
- Basic knowledge of contract law, negotiations, accounting or cost engineering gained through education or experience.
- Previous international experience in the Middle East region is favorable.
- Grade 24: Acts on own initiative on assigned (sub)contracts of increasing value and complexity.
- Grade 23: Performs duties under moderate supervision and typically is assigned one or more simple construction (sub)contracts.
