Job Title: IT Administrator
Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
1. Managing User Support:
- Provide end-user support and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Assist users with hardware and software installations and configurations.
- Respond to user inquiries and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
3. Server and Network Management:
- Manage and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Manage network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, access points, and network devices.
- Troubleshoot network issues and ensure network security and stability.
4. Telephony Systems:
- Manage and maintain AVAYA phones and handle phone system configurations.
- Provide support for phone system users and troubleshoot telephony-related issues.
5. Access Control and Security Systems:
- Manage Finger devices for staff attendance and ZKT Door Access systems.
- Ensure security and access control systems are functioning properly.
- Assist with access control configurations and troubleshooting.
6. Firewall and Security Policy:
- Manage and maintain Fortinet Firewall and security policies.
- Monitor firewall logs and implement necessary security measures.
- Review and update security policies as required.
7. CCTV and Storage:
- Manage and maintain CCTV systems and storage devices.
- Ensure proper functioning of cameras and video storage.
- Troubleshoot CCTV-related issues and assist with footage retrieval.
8. Purchasing and Vendor Management:
- Manage IT purchasing activities, including hardware, software, and licenses.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for procurement and support.
- Maintain vendor relationships and communicate requirements effectively.
9. ERP System Support:
- Provide level 1 support for the Nixpend ERP system.
- Assist users with ERP-related issues and perform basic troubleshooting.
10. Installation and Maintenance:
- Manage the installation and maintenance of laptops, surfaces, desktops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Ensure hardware and software are up to date and functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
11. User Support and Training:
- Assist users with software usage and troubleshooting.
- Develop user documentation and conduct training sessions as needed.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as an IT Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, including servers, networks, and telecommunications.
- Familiarity with Cisco switches, access points, and network devices.
- Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and firewalls.
- Proficient in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
