Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that the AME fleet movements are performed in a reliable, accurate, timely and cost effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organize on time shipment of fleet items between the AME depot network, to and from AME Project sites, and to and from other Aggreko entities.
- Ensure correct importation and exportation of all fleet and central stores shipments into and out of Jebel Ali Free zone and of any cross border shipments.
- Coordinate with various Freight Clearing Agents to expedite clearance & delivery of equipment and materials into and out of Jebel Ali Free zone and of any cross border shipments.
- Ensure that documentation for import and export of all equipment and material into or out of the Free Zone are processed in accordance with Free Zone Rules & Regulations.
- Keep track of Customs bonds and ensuring they are reclaimed on time.
- Monitor, manage & record costs for transport, duties and any/all associated costs for all shipments on a daily basis and update the fleet dispatch master List.
- Ensure all Purchase orders for all AME freight movements are issued on time to all local and international Freight Clearing and Forwarding Agents.
- Coordinate with the transport companies to organize road transport for movement of equipment and material to various project sites within the business unit.
- Coordinate and manage CSC validation/renewals of all Shipper Owned Containers with authorized and certified agents and ensure that all Aggreko owned containerized Equipment are CSC plated and that sea worthy certificates are renewed and kept ready at all times.
- Ensure all import and export activities comply with ISO procedures.
- Displays a commitment to Operational Excellence activities.

Person Specification
- College / Associate's Degree / Diploma.
- Minimum three years of experience in fleet & logistics planning preferred.
- Availability to travel as and when required
- Knowledge of Middle East shipping industry and customs procedures especially UAE and Jebel Ali Free Zone is preferred.
- Experienced in power generation industry is preferred.
- Fluent command of English Language, spoken and written
- Office based job but may require an occasional visit to the local depots.
- Local UAE Driver License essential.
