**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Establishes and maintains records of all inventory items, to show all pertinent data that may be required to ensure adequate controls of the Hospital Inventory.

2. Ensures the inventory levels are maintained at optimum levels.

3. Responsible for the progression analysis, assurance of transactions of receipts and issuance are reflected on Oracle system.

4. Monitors the accuracy of inventory controls by carrying out cycle counts/ physical inventory checks on a monthly routine basis, plus other checks when required. Investigates, corrects, and reports consolidated discrepancies as necessary.

5. Reconciles and verifies the annual physical check, cycle counts and recorded balances. Submits the final report of consolidated discrepancies for approval.

6. Coordinates with Standardization Unit to update and verify the Hospital stock items as necessary, to ensure correct manufacturer /supplier information, packaging / issuing units and price/cost details. Submits this information to each department within the Hospital as needed.

7. Evaluates performance and trains employees.

8. Maintains statistical records on levels and value of the inventory by monitoring the volume / value of orders, receipts and issues.

9. Liaises with the Warehousing/Distribution and Receiving Sections for the receipt/return of stocks and ensures that timely actions are taken. Maintains detailed records of all surplus and deficiencies revealed in the inventory throughout the fiscal year.

10. Participates in self & Hospital’s quality improvement plan preferred.

11. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital/Business Administration, or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
**Grade 8**:
One (1) year of relatedexperience with Bachelor’s Degree, or three (3) years with IPA Diploma isrequired.

**Grade 09**:
Three (3) years of related experience withBachelor’s Degree is required, including two (2) years of (Grade 08) experienceis required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
