Urgent need by a Government hospital : Home Caregiver with nursing background to serve VIP patients at home. Provides essential support and assistance to individuals who require care and support in their own homes.
**Job Summary**:
As a home caregiver, your primary responsibility is to provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals who need assistance with activities of daily living in the comfort of their own homes. You'll work closely with clients and their families to ensure their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Personal Care: Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Medication Assistance: Help clients with medication reminders and ensure medications are taken as prescribed. Note any changes in medication schedules or adverse reactions.
- Health Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status. Report any concerns or changes to the client's healthcare team or family members.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences. Assist with feeding if necessary.
- Light Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up living areas, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for the client.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support, companionship, and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Transportation: Assist with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or other errands as needed. Ensure clients arrive safely and on time.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided, including medication administration, vital signs, and any notable observations or incidents.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond effectively in case of emergencies, including providing first aid, CPR, or calling for medical assistance when necessary.
- Respite Care: Provide temporary relief for primary caregivers by taking over caregiving responsibilities for specified periods of time.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a certified home health aide or personal care aide training program
- Compassion, empathy, and patience when working with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently while adhering to care plans and protocols.
- Basic first aid and CPR certification (preferred).

**Working Conditions**:

- Work primarily takes place in clients' homes, which may vary in terms of cleanliness, accessibility, and safety.
- May involve lifting or assisting clients with mobility, which could pose physical challenges.
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate clients' needs.

**Salary**: ﷼4,000.00 - ﷼4,200.00 per month
