**Merchandiser Duties and Responsibilities**

1. **Duty Time** 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Merchandiser duty will start at 6:30 AM and will be given only 10 minutes grace period.
- After the grace period ends, merchandisers will be considered late and will be penalized. ( 11 minutes late = 10 SR + additional of 1 SR every minute)
- Merchandisers are not allowed to do time out before 5:00 PM. If a merchandiser failed to do so, he will be penalized. (5 SR every minute)
- Break time will be 1 hour only and it starts at exactly 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and it must be strictly followed.
- Failure to comply with the duty time: Merchandisers must inform their direct manager before the duty starts and must have a valid excuse.

2. **Responsibilities**
- Planning and Preparation
- Follow the assigned journey plan.
- Visibility: Merchandise and enhance product display in a way that attracts sales at stores plus secondary perimeter locations.
- Maintain the quality of products by checking expiration dates to make sure of freshness.
- Maintain proper rotation of products (First Expiry First Out).
- Maintain the right quantity of products on shelves by replenishing with back stock.
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves.
- Deliver exceptional service at all times when communicating with the store manager and store in charge to build a good relationship.
- Coordinate product merchandising needs as well as store requirements with field sales supervisors.
- Inventory and reports
- Merchandiser will report directly only to the merchandiser supervisor.
- To monitor competitors’ activity and keep management updated such as, store activities, price change and off shelf display.
- Avoid any issue directly with the store team etc. Have always loop merchandiser supervisor in case of any situation.

3**. Application (SHELVZ)**
- Timing in and out must be done inside the store or at the front door of the store.
- Merchandisers must take pictures before the start of replenishment and after the replenishment, pictures must take in all locations where the products are displayed (main shelf, gondola, floor display, etc.)
- Product Audit, Stock Audit, and Expiry Audit must be accurate.
- Merchandisers are not allowed to add a schedule or to go to another store outside the assigned journey plan without the approval of the direct manager.
