**ABOUT THE HOSPITAL**:
This Armed Forces Hospital is based in Riyadh and is the flagship of the AFH branch. This hospital boasts 1200 beds and is one of the largest military hospitals in the Kingdom.

The Armed Forces hospitals in Saudi Arabia are administered by the Ministry of Defence and Aviation Medical Services Division which administers and operates several hospitals and associated facilities in many locations including the large urban areas and strategic regional centres. The Hospitals range in size from around 200 beds upwards and the main MODA referral facility is the Prince Sultan Military Medical City located in Riyadh.

Each hospital offers a broad range of services in their local area; most for example offer cardiac surgery facilities. MoDA MSD aims to provide the same high standard of care and facilities across all hospitals.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- 2 years Consultant experience in a Western hospital
- 3 years post specialist qualification experience from the following countries:
UK - CCT
USA - American Board
Canada - Canadian Fellowship
Ireland - CSD/CSCST
Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship)
France - DES/DESC
Other European countries according to the qualification equivalence tables of the licensing authorities.

**Salary**: SR to be advised
Gratuity: 1 Months’ salary per annum
Contract Duration: 24 Months renewable
Contract Status: Married (spouse and 3 children as dependents)

Flights: At start & end of each year - First class tickets
Leave: Approx. 7 weeks per annum, can be split
Ed Allowance: Provided for up to 3 children

Excess Baggage: 20 Kilos per person at start and end of employment
Hours of Work: 44 hrs a week over 5 days (exclusive of meal breaks)
