Port Captain

Ensure harbor assets are operationally ready to support port activities, including tugs, mooring equipment, and navigational aids.
- Monitor and coordinate maintenance schedules for all harbor assets in collaboration with the Port Engineer.
- Plan and oversee harbour operations to ensure timely support for vessel movements and other marine activities.
- Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts and liaise with procurement to ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct performance appraisals for harbour operations personnel and ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintain and analyze data and statistics of the assets and present insights to management when required.
- Coordinate with customers and VTS for asset deployment based on daily shipping movements to ensure seamless operations.
- Manage all updates and upgrades of the assets’ equipment and charts.
- Oversee assets operations.
