- Preferably with some KSA experience/Safety Officer shall have a Degree in, Safety Management Diploma and have attended recognized safety courses preferably (NEBOSH)

**Knowledge & Qualification**:

- NEBOSH Certification /Fluency in English language/ Preferably with some KSA experience

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- He shall have at least 6 years experience as safety officer in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry. Experience in Refinery safety is preferred. Duties and Responsibilities: a) Supervise work activities. Carries out regular safety inspection and incident/accident prevention visits. Ensures adherence of permit to work (PTW) and other safe work practices in his assigned area. b) Submit daily safety report. Report and investigate all incident/accident, unsafe acts/conditions or near misses occurring in his area. c) Inspects plants/equipment, scaffolding, work at height, PPE, tools & equipment, fire blanket enclosures, site preparation for work, lifting equipment and conducts gas test. d) Carry out safety inspections of Contractors and sub-contractors facilities such as workshops and stores and the like. e) Capable of working 12 hours/day in a shift basis and it is also expected that the safety officers provided during the shutdown will spend 80% of the time visiting Refinery units for site inspections.
