**Job Summary**

APEX & Process Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day performance of manufacturing operations. Provides leadership for and coordinates activities of & help production departments.

**Essential Functions**
- Manages the manufacturing functions on all shifts. This includes planning the production flow, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, handling staffing issues, monitoring production orders and schedules.
- Develops and analyzes production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
- Develops and works with Production Supervisors/Shift Team Leaders. Provides assistance to employees in solving work-related problems. Works with Human Resources to determine the most effective resolution(s).
- Develops and revises standard operational and working practices and observes employees to ensure compliance.
- Identifies projects and methods to improve performance in all areas of manufacturing.
- Support development and continuous piloting of process improvements and ongoing benchmarking initiatives.
- Execute capital projects according to the scope, schedule, and budget.
- Uphold engineering ethics and maintain high standards of professional behavior and conduct
- Provide day-to-day technical support to the Operation and Maintenance areas, to troubleshoot and fix process equipment.
- Other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Operations, Industrial Engineering or chemical Engineering.
- Proven analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other OE tools.
- You have already gained your first professional experience in process management.
- Data analysis skills and familiarity with supporting tools e.g. Minitab, JMP, MS Excel, MS Access.

**Physical Demands**
- Requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time, talking and listening. Must be able to walk and use hands. Occasionally requires bending, stooping, climbing ladders and stairs. Typically work is in a manufacturing environment where noise level is loud. Generally, requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hat, respiratory protection. Exposure
- to outside weather conditions is routine. May be exposed to working in extreme heat and humidity. May also be exposed on occasion to dust or fumes.
- Ability to travel for business to other sites in Saudi Arabia.
