About you and this role

Do you want to join Dow's digital innovation journey? We are seeking master's / Ph.D. students interested to complement their primary expertise with Digital Internship in Saudi Arabia. You will be integrated in one of Dow’s key functions - Supply Chain or logistics. You will work with a cross-functional team whose high-level goal is to accelerate the digital evolution of a global leader in the materials industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory.
- Coordinate Shipments: Support the logistics team in coordinating domestic and international shipments, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the logistics department and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Data Analysis: Utilize analytical tools to analyze logistics data, generate reports, and provide insights to support decision-making.

**Qualifications**:

- Pursuing or a graduated bachelor/Master in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or any.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with a keen eye for identifying trends and patterns.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and external partners, ensuring clear and concise information flow.
- Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in tasks, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The internship can be started anywhere in between April - May 2024 (Exact time can be discussed).
