**Summary**:
Curriculum Writer designs and develops curriculum content, training materials, training modules, teaching aids, lesson plans, and manages curriculum development programs to include, but not limited to technical skills, management and leadership development, safety and new technology in aircraft and logistics systems and maintenance.

This individual will develop curriculum based on Instructional Systems Design to be used by instructors and trainees. Incumbent is expected to work with the local RSAF Base Training Wing and PKL Services personnel to illicit their expertise and input to ensure accuracy and standardization of all training materials and content.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Designs training programs, including classroom lectures, online courses, and self-study sessions.
- Develops and updates course content and coordinates learning curriculum.
- Conducts assessment and analysis to identify new development needs and recommends training methods accordingly (instructor-led training, OJT, online learning, etc.) appropriate to the audience and the situation.
- Uses appropriate templates or formats to build structured and effective training modules and courses and blends them into an effective curriculum.
- Develops training materials related to the delivery of learning events (e.g., slide presentations, videos, progress checks).
- Develops and publishes instructor guides and lesson plans for instructors.
- Prepares instructors for effective delivery.
- Develops Progress Checks, Certification Tests, and/or other assessments to gauge training effectiveness and student progress.
- Creates visual aids, job aids, and similar materials to help explain work processes.
- Gather related information from Subject Matter Experts.
- Any and all other duties as directed by the Program Manager/Site Manager.

**Required educational/skills background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred.
- Experienced in Instructional Systems Design.
- Minimum two years’ experience in designing and developing technical training.
- Aircraft Maintenance background, F-15 experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- English as first language.

**Work Environment / Physical Requirements**:

- Office environment
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key).
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
