**HSE Officer - Saudi Arabia**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Officer for an exciting and challenging metro project in Saudi Arabia. As the HSE Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and stakeholders throughout the project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a transformative infrastructure project that will have a significant impact on the region's transportation system.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with local regulations, international standards, and best practices.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
- Coordinate and conduct HSE training programs for employees, subcontractors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote a strong safety culture by organizing safety campaigns, initiatives, and toolbox talks.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate potential HSE risks in project planning and execution phases.
- Review and assess subcontractors' HSE plans, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
- Monitor and analyze HSE performance metrics, identify trends, and prepare reports for management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local HSE regulations and industry standards to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience 3 years working as an HSE Officer or similar role on large-scale construction projects, preferably in the transportation sector.
- Sound knowledge of HSE regulations and standards applicable to construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, incident investigation techniques, and HSE management systems.
- Certification in relevant HSE standards, such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001, is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
