At least 3 years of experience in Apigee Edge Private Cloud administration with a strong understanding of

Apigee Edge Gateway, Analytics, DevPortal (Drupal), Monetization services, and their components.

Technical Skills:
▪ Strong understanding and practical experience with Apigee Edge OPDK/Private Cloud and its

components, including API Gateway, Developer Services Portal, Analytics, and Monetization services.

▪ Fair knowledge in Linux system administration, as Apigee OPDK commonly runs on Linux distributions

such as RHEL and CentOS.

▪ Good knowledge of networking concepts and protocols like HTTP, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and

firewalls.

▪ Experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Familiarity with scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl can be beneficial for automation tasks.

▪ Knowledge and experience with API design and implementation standards, including REST and SOAP

protocols, and data formats such as JSON and XML.

SAML.

▪ Experience with monitoring tools, performance tuning, and analytics. Knowledge of the ELK Stack

(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) can be beneficial.

▪ Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools, such as

Jenkins. Understanding of DevOps practices and Agile methodologies.

▪ Proficiency with version control systems, such as Git.

▪ Experience in planning, designing, and implementing disaster recovery (DR) instances and maintaining

high availability of services.

▪ Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues within the Apigee platform.

▪ Good written and verbal communication skills are important for documenting processes, collaborating

with team members, and providing guidance to stakeholders.
