Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Project Management Engineering Advisor - Vehicles Fleet to provide consulting services to improve the efficiency of managing the Client's vehicle fleet (movable assets) which are estimated to be around 10K+ vehicles.
The main scope is to manage the engineering aspects of a project, ensuring that it is completed on time, within budget, and meets all requirements and specifications. This requires a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, as well as project management skills and the ability to coordinate and collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
The purpose is to oversee and manage the engineering aspects of a project from start to finish, ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and meets all requirements and specifications. The Project Management Engineer is responsible for managing the technical aspects of the project, coordinating with other team members and stakeholders, and ensuring that all engineering work is completed to the required standards.
This role is part of 19 consultants’ team and will be based in Riyadh.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement an integrated project plan, control changes and determine the project's scope precisely in terms of items and dates.
Cost and resource management required for project completion, availability of a basis for distribution of information and dissemination of project phases.
Manage the execution of the project, including coordinating with other team members, monitoring project progress, and ensuring that project milestones are met. This could involve managing project risks, resolving issues, and communicating project status to stakeholders.
Monitor project performance against the project plan, identify deviations from the plan, and take corrective action as necessary. This could involve tracking project costs, monitoring project quality, and managing project scope changes.
Plan and manage the resources needed for the project, including personnel, equipment, and materials. This could involve developing staffing plans, coordinating with other project managers, and managing project budgets.
Identify, assess, and manage project risks. This could involve developing risk management plans, identifying potential risks, and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. This could involve developing quality management plans, monitoring project quality, and implementing quality improvement processes.
Evaluate and improve project processes and procedures to ensure that they are efficient, effective, and cost-effective. This could involve identifying areas for improvement, proposing process changes, and implementing new technologies or tools to improve project performance.
Degree holder of Engineering
10 years minimum work experience in similar role
Develop and manage project schedules, identifying critical paths, and ensure that all engineering work is completed on time.
Manage the project budget, track costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities where possible.
Identify project risks and develop risk mitigation plans to minimize the impact of potential issues.
Ensure that all engineering work meets quality standards and that all project deliverables meet requirements and specifications.
Oversee all engineering work, ensuring that it is completed to the required standards, and coordinating with other team members to ensure that all aspects of the project are integrated.
Communicate regularly with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, identify issues, and resolve problems.
