**Position Summary**:
Provide Departments planning support to the Technical, Maintenance and Plant Operations in order to keep the plant operating at its optimum reliability and capacity in a cost effective and timely manner. Develop the Planning organization to accomplish the Business Plan Maintenance and best practice objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure preparation of the work plan and time schedule for Preventive & Corrective Maintenance on a weekly basis and those sufficient resources are sourced from contractors and vendors in order to keep the Plant running optimally and continuously.
- Ensures that maintenance resources are effectively allocated across the complex. Coordinates with maintenance engineers (mechanical/electrical/control) for scheduling of their area related jobs, which involve maintenance facilities.
- Ensures that planning and scheduling is coordinated for plant modifications executed by the maintenance organization.
- Monitors daily progress and issues progress reports during shutdown with focus on critical path and key issues.
- Supervises Personnel to ensure Planning/scheduling and follow up of plant Preventive Maintenance jobs and daily routine jobs related to plant facilities, workshop/rotating equipment/ heavy equipment and civil (Scaffolding, Insulation, painting etc.).
- Ensure the Management of Change Project Package has source materials, equipment and specialist vendors who can deliver the work within the time frame; ensure a detailed work schedule is produced to meet plant optimization requirements. Ensure a detailed action work plan and time schedule is produced for the shutdown (for emergencies) or turnaround (biennially). Monitor and report against this schedule on an ongoing basis during the shutdown/turnaround.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferably with professional certification in project management e.g. PMP. Project Management skills especially with computerized Project Management Software like MS-Project, Primavera and Computerized maintenance management Systems. Min. 2 years in engineering, production maintenance planning and scheduling experience in a computerized environment.

**Skills**:

- Management skills, budgeting, planning, negotiating and forecasting skills.
- Excellent skills in documentation of work plans, time schedules and costing.
- Multi-tasking across operations, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance and process engineering
- Strong negotiating ability and effective communication skills.
- Excellent relationship building skills (internal and external)
- Strong work ethic and be able to adhere to company, policies, and standard business etiquette.
- Establishment of strong network of suppliers and vendors
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in English required,
- Self-starter with mínimal supervision for routine activities.
- Extensive computer skills in using Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) plus other software pertinent to the work performed would be advantageous.
- Ability to work with diverse populations and foster a cooperative team environment.
- Bi-lingual or multi-lingual is a plus.
- International work experience in remote camp environment.
