Responsible for the appropriate Custom clearance of overseas shipment for supplies and equipment thru Dry Port and Airport with assurance that all shipping details/information are complete and properly documented.
**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Supervises and directs daily activities of Cargo staff, distributes work load properly distributed to maintain proficient operations.
- Directs and guides Cargo Section staff at site for effective flow of the process to ensure that all shipments received are dealt according to their nature particularly the Frozen and Refrigerated items.
- Coordinates with Customs and observes the proper inspection of Hospital goods and equipment.
- Ensures that the numbering, recording, signing and computer in-putting of paper works for Custom inspection are correct and processed properly.
- Checks and ascertains that arriving shipments are properly checked/verified prior to receiving and releasing from the Dry Port and Airport Customs.
- Ensures that shipments are managed competently and appropriate tools/equipment(s) are available at all times to perform the duties on a timely manner.
- Ensures that all cleared items/equipment are transported cautiously from the Custom Ports to the Receiving area and properly unloaded from the containers or vehicles.
- Receives all documents for Hospital Air Shipments and personal effects from Saudi Airlines and other airlines.
- Evaluates and rates the performance of subordinates.
- Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
- Participates in self & other’s education, training & development, as applicable.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
**Education**:
Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital/Business Administration, or otherrelated discipline is required.
**Experience Required**:
**Grade 8**:
One (1) year of relatedexperience with Bachelor’s Degree, or three (3) years with IPA Diploma isrequired.
**Grade 09**:
Three (3) years of related experience withBachelor’s Degree is required, including two (2) years of (Grade 08) experienceis required.
**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:
Saudi National Only.
