**Your new role, what's involved?**
- Lead the hydraulic design efforts for stormwater management systems, including drainage networks, culverts, detention basins, and flood control structures.
- Conduct comprehensive hydrological and hydraulic analyses to assess the potential impact of stormwater runoff on infrastructure and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to integrate hydraulic designs into overall project plans, ensuring alignment with project goals and client requirements.
- Utilize advanced modeling software to simulate stormwater flow, analyze system performance, and optimize design solutions.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide expert guidance and technical support to project teams, clients, and stakeholders throughout all project phases.
- Participate in project meetings, presentations, and discussions to communicate progress, address challenges, and ensure project objectives are met.
- Stay informed about emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in stormwater management and hydraulic engineering, and contribute to the continuous improvement of WSP's capabilities in this field.

**We'd love to hear from you if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in hydraulic engineering, with a focus on stormwater management projects.
- Proven expertise in conducting hydrological and hydraulic analyses using industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design tools.
- Extensive knowledge of local regulations, codes, and standards related to stormwater management and drainage design in Saudi Arabia.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully managing complex engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Fluency in English is required. Arabic language skills are advantageous.
