Offshore Medic

Channel Ship Services Limited (CSS Limited) is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Medic to join our team. As an Offshore Medic, you will play a critical role in providing medical support and assistance to personnel working in offshore environments. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical care, conducting health assessments, and ensuring the well-being and safety of all individuals on board.

**Responsibilities**:

- Providing emergency medical support and treatment to offshore personnel.
- Conducting pre-employment medical assessments and screenings.
- Assessing and treating injuries, illnesses, and medical emergencies.
- Administering medications and vaccinations.
- Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation.
- Monitoring and maintaining medical supplies and equipment.
- Collaborating with emergency response and evacuation teams.
- Keeping up-to-date with best practices and developments in offshore medical care.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Providing health education and promoting wellness initiatives.
- Participating in emergency drills and exercises.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of medical evacuation plans.

**Requirements**:

- Valid certification as an Offshore Medic or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Recognized medical degree or diploma.
- Experience in emergency medicine and trauma care.
- Proficient in advanced life support techniques.
- Strong knowledge of offshore health and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work on a rotational schedule and travel to offshore locations.
- Valid offshore medical and survival certifications.
- Updated Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
