- he Senior Cost Engineer reports to the Project Director/Manager and liaises with all other Cost Management, Unit members. Coordinate with client’s senior representatives, Contractors, Subcontractors, Government Agencies, and Consultants as necessary. S
- upport the Project Director in establishing and implementing department policies, goals, objectives, and procedures as approved by the Project Director. S
- upport and participation in preparing the project’s budgets and five-year plan and updating it annually. S
- upport and participate in preparing the annual project budget plan and submitting it to the Ministry of Finance to approve the annual budget. R
- eview the estimated cost of projects before the bidding phase. D
- evelop and follow up on invoicing and payment processes. M
- anaging the project’s change management, review, and audit claims process. M
- anage and sustain the project’s cost data using the appropriate Project Management Information System (PMIS). P
- articipate in monitoring the project, reporting and managing project dashboards. R
- eview projects cash flow and recommends best practice for planning and updating. R
- epresent the department in management meetings as necessary. C
- oordinate with client departments and divisions to implement the current and future deliverables and initiatives. P
- rovide guidance, directions, and specialized assistance to projects. M
- onitor project cash flow, advise departments of any deviation in plans, and provide input and feedback to rectify deviations. C
- oordinate and develop related reports for inclusion in the Unified Monthly Report prepared by Cost Management Department. E
- stablish, measure, and report the achievement of department goals and targets, KPI and performance. A
- ssist the Director in identifying staff knowledge and skill sets gaps and implementing appropriate training. P
- erform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

- achelor’s degree in a relevant field of study. 1
- 0 years of relevant experience in the field of Project Cost management. R
- elevant Certification Preferred (ex., Project Management, Professional-PMP). P
- roject Management Information Systems (PMIS) proficiency, an expert in using relevant software. E
- xperience in working in a structured PMO. E
- xperience in dealing with consultants/contractors/subcontractors. T
- roven ability to perform project management roles through knowledge and experience of Saudi Arabia Governmental practices and regulations. T
