**1. JOB DETAILS:
**Position Title**:Superintendent, Crusher Operations

**Reports to**:
**Department & Function**:Crusher & Mine Operations, Manager

**2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
Cost effectively manages all resources including a qualified and well-trained work force to safely operate Plant to deliver Plant production targets within agreed plans and budgets in line with the Production Strategy and the vision, mission, and business objectives of Ma’aden

**3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
**Qualification**:

- Degree Holder, or at least College Level preferably Bachelor of Technology / Engineering

**Experience:
- At least 5-7 years of experience in similar work environment and equivalent degree

**Skills:
- Extensive Computer Skills - Specially on generating reports, charts, graphs, and presentations
- Good Communication skills - can speak and write well in English and/or Arabic
- Problem-solving Skills
- Organizational Skills
- Analytical Skills

**4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Develop and implement daily safety inspections to spot potential problems and maintain compliance with Safety and good housekeeping standards

**Health, Safety and Environment
- Promote a culture of safety as reflected by zero accident and low incident rates.
- Ensure the implementation of the operational EHSS Management System to ensure that all MPC Plant Production staff implement standard EHSS processes and operating procedures
- Coordinate & ensure that his team will comply with Safety Audits
- Ensure no environment violations to MPC standards

**Leadership**
- Ensure the effective achievement of Production functional objectives through the leadership of a team in an assigned plant - setting plant and individual objectives, managing performance, developing, and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal - to maximize subordinate and plant performance
- Develop and execute integrated organization and manpower plans to support the accomplishment of Production Plans including the recruitment, training, and development of multicultural staff.
- Create a working environment and culture which engages all staff. Manage the staff and develop future leaders for the plant and the Company.
- Direct the training of team to prepare and develop them for planned career succession.

**Policies, Processes & Procedures**
- Contribute to the development of and ensure the implementation of functional policies, processes, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned plant Production activity so that all relevant procedural/ legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering the appropriate quality, and targeted production from the assigned plant in a cost-effective manner
- Ensure the review of such policies, processes, procedures, programs, and rules and recommend changes and updates
- Ensure their proper implementation as approved by the management

**Annual Budgets and Plans**
- Prepare the annual operating and capital expenses financial budget and manage Plant production to accomplish those budgets.
- Set the production plans and provide input to technical budgets for the year based on the sales plans and customer demands.
- Supervise and control manpower, capital and expense budgets relating to the function.
- Generate new ideas to make cost reduction and saving to improve plant operation.

**Shut down and Start Up**
- Ensure all actions are taken for the safe shutdown and start-up of the plant in line with standard operating procedures
- Shutdown/Turnaround schedule and procedures are followed

**Trouble Shooting and Decision Making**
- Generate quick and prompt decisions making solutions to resolve operating problems to meet the shift production targets.

**Manpower Management**
- Organize required manpower to ensure that the shift operations are run efficiently. Appraise staff performance to assess the effectiveness of available staff to meet current and future needs.
- Manpower requirements are accurately estimated and allocated to run the shift efficiently
- Staff appraisals are completed timely and comprehensively to provide staff with valid feedback
- Annual leave schedules should be submitted timeously.

**Work Quality**
- Works according to standard instructions and established procedures.
- Ensure P&IDs of the unit are matching with the field.
- Coordinate the production plan and ensure the plan is achieved.

**Communication**
- Shall have good English reading, writing, and speaking ability. Should have a very good track record of maintaining good interpersonal skills.
- Works closely with the Operation Manager, other plants, Maintenance team, Technical Support team, Services Support team and EHSS.
