Job Description

Job Title: GIS Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, analyze, and integrate spatial data from various sources.
- Create and maintain GIS databases and ensure data accuracy. Follow local and regional GIS policies and procedures.
- Develop maps and visual representations of data for reports and presentations.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify GIS needs and provide solutions.
- Conduct spatial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Stay updated with GIS technology trends and software advancements and develop strategies to implement them effectively.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Experience 1-3 years.
- Proficiency in cartography and design tools with a preference for AutoCAD.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with spatial analysis and cartographic design.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
- Applicants with geotechnical, geological and environmental background/experience will be preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of remote sensing and data visualization techniques with creativity and aesthetic approach.
- Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
