**Job Description**:
**Summary**:
The Chief Steward is responsible for the overall management of the stewarding department, including the supervision of staff, the ordering and

d inventory of supplies, and the maintenance of equipment. The Chief Steward also ensures that the stewarding department meets all health and safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the stewarding staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating employees.
- Order and inventory supplies, such as cleaning chemicals, dishware, and linens.
- Maintain equipment, such as dishwashers, ovens, and refrigerators.
- Ensure that the stewarding department meets all health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as kitchen and housekeeping, to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Prepare reports on stewarding activity for management review.
