Cad Operator

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented ACD Operator to join our team In this role you will include boundary land coordinate diagrams and survey sketch deliverables, topographic surveys from traditional ground survey data and point files. Will at times work on as-built data, planning schemes, and miscellaneous exhibits. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required with experience in Civil 3D.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Working on boundary maps and topographic drawings.
- Additional tasks include preparing maps to display information furnished by urban planning staff.
- Working along with the Survey Department to produce Topographic and Recording Drawings.
- Preparing design drawings for urban planning purposes including site plans, cross-sections and subdivision layouts
- Develop accurate subdivision plans from conceptual layouts prepared by Urban Planning Team.
- Assisting other graphics presentation materials in CAD for other Urban Planning Sections.
- Will be expected to follow CAD standards and data management standards.
- Other duties as assigned to support all Urban Planning Department needs as required.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience using Civil 3D.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Direct experience in preparing CAD maps, schematic drawings, preliminary plans, and subdivision layouts. Must be flexible and adaptable to change and perform other duties as assigned
- Background understanding of survey office and fieldwork.
- Basic mathematical and analytical skills and ability to organize and display data in presentation formats, including reduced-sized figures for reports and full-scale drawings for display.
- Demonstrate competent ability to read, write, and speak in English.
