**Job Overview**:
Performs a variety of structural engineering work for both offshore and onshore oil and gas projects, including conceptual studies, FEED, estimates, and detailed engineering. Detailed knowledge of offshore design techniques and analysis methods. Able to lead small offshore structural engineering project teams as well as contribute to onshore structural engineering project teams. Supports procurement, fabrication, and construction phases of projects utilizing engineering knowledge and experience.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Preparing project specification and structural design criteria applicable for onshore or offshore loading conditions including empty, operating, test, dynamic, fatigue, wind, seismic, blast, lifting, and transportation
- Responsible for designing complex deliverables such as offshore platforms and structures, onshore process structures, pipe racks, modules, foundations, underground concrete tanks, paving, etc
- Preparing or checking design calculations
- Assist in updating weight report
- Assisting designers with 3D model development
- Effectively communicates complex technical solutions and concepts to other engineers and non-engineers
- Can be assigned as a lead on a project responsible for specifications, planning, scheduling, technical execution, budget and quantity control, material requisitions, manpower planning and progress reporting
- Work is performed in office and construction site environments
- Travels to attend meetings, training and site verifications

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- BS degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
- Familiar with design codes such as API, ISO, DNV, IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE, and NFPA
- Proficient in structural analysis software such as SACS, STAAD Pro, and ANSYS
- Strong communication skill and professional ethics to interface with clients and project team
- Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Heavy Industrial / Oil & Gas type facilities
- Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore projects
- Capable to lead small offshore structural engineering project team

**Preferred/Desired Qualifications**:

- Registered Professional Engineer
