- Plastics: With new technology trends, our plastic additives can be experienced in many everyday items including vinyl, blow-molding bottles, film, rigid containers, PVC plastics, siding, decks and rails, foam pipes and profile formulations, window frames, and high-efficiency lubricants.
- Industrial intermediates: As the product of a reaction that is beneficial when used as a precursor chemical for another product, industrial intermediates can take on many shapes and forms. Ours are used in home comfort and appliance, building and construction, adhesives and lubricants, and more.
- Coatings: Whether it’s a water-based coating or solvent-based coating, a thin film is deposited on materials to enhance specific properties such as enhanced performance, durability, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Interns will lead challenging projects that are aligned to Dow’s strategic priorities and designed to provide practical skill-based development while offering insight into the Dow culture. Equally important, the role of each intern is to actively network across the company to develop their own assessment of Dow, our culture and the full-time career opportunity.

The internship program will cover a period of 6 weeks and will also involve several intensive training programs and a dedicated local coach in R&D/TS&D environment.

You also get the chance to work with people from different nationalities and backgrounds, and together create innovative solutions that contribute to human progress

Responsibilities/Duties and Additional Details:

- You are a KGSP student currently studying a sophomores and juniors studying chemistry, chemical engineering, and materials sciences, with a 3.5 GPA and above, and you are able to do a 6 weeks in the internship
- You have an analytical and problem-solving mindset that fosters innovation and can solve challenges through critical thinking
- You have a high independency and a passion for research with eagerness to learn and grow
- You have demonstrated strong communication and teamwork skills.
- High Level of English Language Proficiency and Arabic Language remain a plus.
- Ready to work within health & safety policies of DOW (Constructions chemicals & Polyurethanes)
