**Principal Objective: A brief summary of the responsibilities of the position**

As a Digital Transformation Specialist you will be responsible for leading the JCPDI Programs digital transformation initiatives with the aim of improving overall efficiency and delivery timelines. You will serve as a leader and manage projects designed to create digital capabilities and improve overall efficiencies increasing profitability, staying at the forefront of technologies, and recommending solutions to tackle challenges that arise.

**Major Activities Performed: List the major job function(s) of the position.**
- Developing the Digital Transformation Strategy: You will create and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy for the Program Management Department with alignment to the organization's goals and objectives. This strategy will include the use of technology solutions to improve efficiencies, streamline project delivery, and optimize costs.
- Evaluating Technology Solutions and Trends: You will be required to evaluate new technologies, tools, and frameworks that are relevant to the project needs, to identify opportunities where digital transformation can improve the project performance and streamline project delivery.
- Coordinating with Stakeholders: Work closely with the Royal Commission to identify areas that require transformation and respective solutions, resources and requirements.
- Implementing Digital Solutions: You will be responsible for identifying, designing, implementing and testing new digital tools and technologies that streamline processes, boost productivity etc.
- Executing Change Management Activities: You will be responsible for planning and executing change management activities for the project team to ensure optimal adoption of the new digital transformation strategy.
- Monitoring and Evaluating Performance: You will track and evaluate digital transformation progress for the Program Management Department's initiatives. This will involve analyzing and monitoring metrics, gathering feedback, reviewing process changes, and analyzing the effectiveness of technology solutions constantly making improvements and recommending adjustments where needed.
- Building Partnerships: You will work with the Royal Commission and Parsons to support digital transformation initiatives. This includes qualifying and selecting vendors/solutions, assessing collaboration opportunities, and identifying new sourcing opportunities that can help the Program Management Department achieve its goals.
- Research and Documentation: You will document the digital transformation initiatives and share updates and progress regularly. Documentation will include research on new technology trends and solutions, client feedback/key issues and lessons learned from prior implementation, it will be a collection of data and evidence to support project decision-making and future planning efforts.

**Experience and Qualifications: List the background experience required for the position, number of years experience, in what fields.**
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a Western University.
- 15 years of experience from which at least 5 years of experience in digital transformation in Saudi Arabia.
- Experience in creating digital transformation strategies, leveraging emerging technologies to drive innovation, and ensuring proper implementation of new technologies.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, data analytics, and cloud computing.
- Experience with digital transformation methodologies like design thinking, agile, and lean methodologies.
- Strong understanding of change management concepts and experience in driving change management initiatives.
