**Responsibilities**
Create a company-wide HSSEQ plan for implementing a comprehensive management system
Drive and institutionalize the Company's commitment to continuous improvement, changed behaviors, reduced risks, and regulatory compliance.
Regularly comparing health, safety, and quality performance statistics with the organization's strategic direction, and taking corrective action within operations, counseling leaders, or modifying the strategy as needed.
In line with the Company's HSSEQ policies and objectives, you must: - Plan, evaluate, and approve HSSEQ Service Level Agreements with all Departments and Business Units.
You need to manage your staff, coach them, and plan for their future.
Assist top management in making the necessary changes to foster an HSSEQ culture that prioritizes proactivity, awareness, compliance, and participation by providing advice, guidance, and direction.
Improvements in performance, employee involvement, and openness can be achieved through the company-wide establishment of HSSEQ goals and key performance indicators.
- Make sure the company has mechanisms in place to effectively identify HSSEQ training needs and provide quality training to employees and other appropriate parties so that they can achieve the company's strategic goals and industry best practices.
To guarantee adequate provision of resources to enable departmental service provision, departments must establish and implement budgetary and personnel planning processes.
To determine and reach agreement with numerous parties on variable headcount within HSSEQ functions supporting business units, you must implement and perform governance management.
Compliance and preparation of detailed technical investigation reports that identify precise root causes and analyze corrective activities to establish risk minimisation efficacy are of paramount importance to the Company.
Determine areas where the Company's internal HSSEQ processes can be enhanced to bring them in line with best practices in the industry. Facilitating the execution of internal audits and taking decisive action to address noncompliance.
- Create, implement, and maintain procedures for the Security function in the Company, both on
- and off-site, while also identifying and mitigating any risks associated with those procedures. Also, make sure an emergency preparedness and disaster management plan is created and followed.
- Represent Company Business Units before legislative, regulatory, and industry authorities, as well as important clients, to give strategic direction, reporting, and undertakings in regards to HSSEQ implementation, action, and management.
Act as a coach to subordinates, identify training and career development needs, recommend training courses, and follow up on personnel records such timesheets, punishment, vacation, leave, and absenteeism as a supervisor in the HSSEQ department.
Appointing, training, developing, coaching, and performance managing Nationals will help boost Qatarization activities.
Decision-making autonomy, including the authority to provide sufficient resources, for all operational matters pertaining to HSSEQ to guarantee the upkeep of adequate safeguards and give confidence to all divisions and units of business.

Qualifications in Education and the Profession:
**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's Degree in the Field.
Auditor certification (Lead Audit) for the ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accreditation framework from a globally recognized body (Exemplar Global, IRCA, etc.) is preferred.
Experience in heavy industry (such as oil and gas, marine, mining, ports, power generation, and tier-1 EPCM) for at least 10 of the required 15 years.
Proven experience as a manager for at least eight years, with a focus on HSSEQ in either a corporate or senior operational setting.
Expertise in global best practices gleaned from multinational corporations operating in high-stakes, high-risk settings with tight regulatory mandates.
Auditing experience in large organizations both on and off shore.
Expertise with Microsoft Office
