- 2. OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:
- Reliability Performance Superintendent is responsible and accountable for asset reliability risks to plant or business operations and provides specialist technical advice to the Maintenance and Operation Divisions on statistical analysis, reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities, controls, and safety systems. Lead for developing analytical methods for determining reliability of components, equipment and processes and provides specialized technical guidance and support to the Reliability Analyst and the Discipline Engineering Section in developing and updating predictive and preventive maintenance programs.- 3. **Description
**Performance Indicators
Responsible to determine what actual problem requires resolution and obtain any additional information needed to understand the problem.

Provide technical expertise for the analysis, development and evaluation of new maintenance technologies and equipment, and fully utilize all existing technology.

Lead for Conducting Life data analysis (Weibull analysis or similar) and Downtime analysis for all assets and calculating & monitoring of all Reliability KPIs.

Responsible for developing statistical inputs / supports to Rotating engineering expertise/ Reliability methodology Engineers during their methodology studies. (RCM/RIS/RBI/RCA)

Developing methods to monitor equipment performance and detect potential problems.

Provides monitoring equipment performance trends, recognizing and acting on deviations from reliability and availability targets of the facilities.

Oversee the monitoring and analyses of EAM data for quality related to equipment performance.

Conducting research on industry best practices for reliability to identify improvements in practices.

Participating in investigations of accidents or incidents to determine their causes and contributing factors.
