**What will I be doing?**

Reports to the Supervisor/Foreman regarding daily work progress and trouble report completion

Works closely with Supervisor/Foreman and peers to carry out preventive maintenance and annual maintenance programmes

Scheduling assignments and organizing daily jobs to Boilers & General mechanics

Follows all safety rules and regulations in job, departmental procedures and instruction

Carries out all other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor

An Boilers Maintenance Technician / General Mechanic serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

- **Able to read building, plumbing, mechanical and fabrication drawings. Able to fabricate from drawings.**:

- **Able to repair LPG & Electrical boliers and plumbing systems and mechanical services equipment.**:

- **Knowledge of repair and maintenance of pumps and pumping systems etc.**:

- **Expert in all forms of welding, Arc and Gas.**:

- **Manage the boiler and other related machinery, ensuring it is functional and safe at all times**:

- **Inspect safety devices on a daily basis, running tests and reporting any unusual situations**:

- **Monitor boiler water and fuel levels, making adjustments and activating valves as necessary to keep the boiler operational**:

- **Maintain records of operation, fuel and water levels, completed maintenance and other data**:

- **Good all round practical trade skills inclusive use PVC, AB8, Copper, Iron plumbing fittings and materials.**:

- **Good all round practical trade skills inclusive pumps, generators, compressors, fans, fire fighting equipment etc.**:

- **Knowledge of planned preventive maintenance and safety programmes.**:

- **Flexible and team player. Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.**:

- **Works closely with peers to assist in their job when requested by supervisor.**:

- **Attains all departmental meetings and training classes.
