Draftsperson

Responsible for maintaining records of technical drawings and preparations of technical correspondence, evaluations, reports and related documents.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:
1.Provides assistance to the Department Head in the technical evaluation of in-house Hospital projects/work requests. Handles all technical details with accepted and established Hospital Procedures under the supervision of the assigned supervisor.

2. Reviews/ evaluates technical drawings/ requests including internal memos/ correspondence and provides input to the assigned supervisor.

3. Prepares replies to technical correspondences including answering telephone inquiries on technical matters.

4. Prepares and assists Supervisors in the preparation of the budget allocation of the Department including the necessary actions with regards to the scheduling, implementation of Hospital-In-house projects.

5. Coordinates with the Projects Management, user departments, other concerned departments, UMD Supervisors as well as outside contractors/vendors relative to technical requirements/Specifications, inputs, recommendations, and necessary actions with regards to the scheduling, implementation of Hospital-In-house projects.

6. Operates and maintains office equipment such as: computer, scanner, printer/plotter to increase productivity.

7. Does preliminary inspection of all in-house projects in preparation to the submission of projects status/accomplishment/ acceptance reports.

8. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.

**Education**:
Bachelor's or Associate Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architectural, Engineering Drafting or other related discipline is required.

**Experience Required**:
One (1) year of related experience with Bachelor's or three (3) years with Associate Degree is required.

**Other Requirements(Certificates)**:

- Driver's license from country of origin is necessary to obtain a Saudi driver's license.
- Skilled in Auto CAD, 3D studio Viz software.
- Non-Saudi Engineers must obtain minimum of five (5) years of related experience.
- Saudi Council of Engineers license is required.
