**Essential Responsibilities**
- Responsible for overseeing the project and direct or indirect leadership and/or management of project resources for small-medium sized projects (size in relation to GE company) that may include equipment-only up to TKP/TKSI
- Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
- May lead functional teams or projects with mínimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view
- Develop detailed project schedule from sales handover to project closure, tracking and communicating the progress throughout
- Monitor & control the project. Track lessons learned
- Managing large site teams and resources
- Meeting project contractual obligations
- Ensure cash and bond collection
- Continually identifying and managing risks & opportunities
- Build and grow relationships with customers during both ITO and OTR phases
- Lead and develop cross-functional teams to meet project targets
- Resolve commercial and technical challenges.
- Provide frequent progress update presentations to Management
- Maintain thorough project control practices, including document control
- Manage and address change orders, claims, cost impacts, delays, etc.
- Manage and address all customer communication, including official letters
- Drive project execution excellence by implementing industry best practices
- Use of GE project management tools & platforms
- Ensure effective Project Quality Plan, and EHS plan
- Consult with contract manager, finance manager, and other internal managers to align on meeting project deliverables

**Qualifications / Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, from an accredited university or equivalent.
- Substantial years’ experience in the energy industry with specific focus on Project Management
- Deep experience working on large complex projects as Project Manager or working within the Project team.
- Proven track record of commercial and technical skills.
- Experience with scheduling software i.e. primavera P6.
- Experienced with service contracts and management of forced outages
- Willingness to travel frequently

**Desired Characteristics**
- Knowledge of project management tools and processes
- Experience working in GE Power GTG/STG field services or installation
- Fluent in Arabic (verbal and written)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Strong analytical, problem solving, facilitation, organization, and planning skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including: Project, Work, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated ability to competently manage high-profile escalated situations
- Strong customer orientation.
- Desire to improve work processes
- Highly motivated and able to deliver ahead of schedule.
- Self-reliant, requiring mínimal supervision and oversight
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
