**About this opportunity**

We are now looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions based on customer specifications and business needs. Responsible for short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson by being part of or working closely with the Core 3 team to translate the customer need and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions, and proposals. Supports the Consultants during requirement analysis and high-level design phases.

**You will**
- Assume a Customer Solution Responsible (CSR) role or Lead Solution Architect within Sales & Delivery Life cycle of projects/programs
- Analyze customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Responsible for Business Support Systems Solutions/Products Pre-Sales & Delivery
- Be responsible for scope, defining and designing solution offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
- Work with the core team on a list of potential activities and solutions
- Lead or Support deployment of a solution
- Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solutions to enable customer competence to build
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation, and information sharing
- Provide feedback to R&D for product improvements

**You will bring**
- Education: Degree in Computer Science/IT, Engineering, or equivalent
- Overall 10-15 years of experience as a Solution Architect in Telecommunications
- Minimum 5 years as Solution Architect with experience in Online Charging Systems, Mediation systems, Order Management
- Proven experience in leading BSS Domain solutions in large-scale operators (5 years)
- Demonstrated ability and competence in the area of expertise such as Online Charging Systems, Mediation, and Order Management
- Ability to understand and translate to design artifacts sophisticated requirements
- Experience working in virtualization and cloud technologies
- Problem-Solving and Tactical / Creative / Innovative thinking
- Proven experience in leading consulting, pre-sales, and solutions implementation of end-to-end telecom business solution
- Consultative behavior, business-driven, and self-motivated.
- Ericsson's experience will be appreciated previously (Nice to have)
- Arabic speaking (Nice to have)
- Previous work in GCC countries and Saudi Arabia (Nice to have)

**Technical Skills**
- Long-term Linux experience
- Network, Compute, and Storage architecture dimensioning and design
- IP Protocols (MPLS, etc.)
- Telecommunication protocols (SS7, DIAMETER, etc.)
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud technologies
- OpenShift and RHOS (certification will be nice to have)
- Network Tracing tools (Wireshark, etc.)
- Oracle and PL/SQL
- Python, shell scripting
- Java J2EE
