Lead Engineer

**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Lead the estimation team in developing accurate and detailed cost estimates for all aspects of the stadium construction project, including but not limited to structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural components.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to review project plans, specifications, and scope documents to understand project requirements and identify potential cost implications.
- Utilize industry-standard estimating software and tools to analyze project data, generate quantity takeoffs, and prepare cost estimates in accordance with established methodologies and best practices.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure estimates reflect current market conditions and industry standards.
- Evaluate subcontractor bids and proposals, negotiate pricing and terms, and incorporate subcontractor costs into overall project estimates.
- Prepare and present comprehensive cost estimates to internal stakeholders and clients, providing detailed breakdowns and explanations of cost assumptions and methodologies.
- Monitor and track project cost estimates throughout the lifecycle of the project, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or variances to ensure budget adherence and profitability.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in construction estimating, with at least 6 years in a leadership role and a minimum of 5yrs experience projects, preferably in GCC (KSA experience ideally)
- Proven track record of successfully estimating large-scale projects, experience within the aquatic or marine construction sector is an asset.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
- Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Bluebeam, Procore, or equivalent.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project documents, plans, and specifications.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
