The ICT Design Consultant is responsible for reviewing, advising, and updating all aspects of ICT system design, ensuring alignment with the client’s ICT basis of design. The role involves closely working with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet the client's specific needs within the proposed SLA timelines.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Technical Leadership**
- Spearheaded the technical aspects of high-speed network connectivity, particularly focusing on DWDM technology.

**Documentation & Specifications**
- Assist in crafting Requests for Proposals (RFPs), cost estimations, and technical requirements to ensure all telecom facets are covered.

**Network Design**
- Develop robust network architectures, identifying critical nodes and designing for redundancy and security.

**Compliance Assurance**
- Validate that all telecom designs adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and performance metrics.

**Intelligent Systems Development**
- Take the lead in creating and integrating smart transport features, including vehicle detection cameras and message signage.

**Network Optimization**
- Evaluate and propose enhancements for existing network infrastructure to achieve redundancy and optimum performance.

**Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination**
- Liaise with suppliers for quotes and specs, and engage in high-level meetings to update and consult with project stakeholders.

**Site Validation**
- Conduct site assessments and tests to confirm the validity and performance of telecom installations.

**Future-Proof Design**
- Ensure that telecom systems are scalable to accommodate future expansions and technology shifts.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on large-scale projects.
- Deep expertise in key telecom technologies like DWDM and MPLS.
- A thorough understanding of industry compliance and standards.

**Skills**:

- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Proficiency in project management techniques
- Familiarity with design software like CAD
