**Director 4PL (Containers)**

**Experience**: 10 years of experience in Container Logistics & Supply Chain Management

**Education**: Bachelors in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or relevant field.

**Location**:Neom, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

**Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize container logistics operations for the organization and continuously assess and adapt strategies to meet changing market and business needs.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including carriers, shippers, and service providers.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure alignment with organization goals, service level agreements, and performance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate container logistics into the broader supply chain strategy.
- Identify and implement best practices and innovative solutions to drive supply chain excellence.
- Monitor and improve the end-to-end flow of containers, from origin to destination.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to measure the performance of container logistics operations.
- Regularly analyse and report on performance data, making data-driven decisions for improvements.
- Manage the budget for the container logistics operations and ensure financial targets are met.
- Implement cost-saving measures and seek opportunities to optimize resource allocation.
- Identify potential risks and challenges in the container logistics operations and develop mitigation strategies.
- Measure and optimize the time it takes for containers to move through the supply chain, from unloading at the port to reloading and dispatching to their destination.
- Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the container handling process and implement improvements to reduce turnaround times.
- Assess carriers based on criteria such as service quality, reliability, pricing, and responsiveness.
- Monitor and reduce the environmental impact of container logistics operations.
- Track metrics related to carbon emissions, energy consumption, waste management, and other sustainability indicators.
- Develop and implement eco-friendly practices to reduce the ecological footprint of the supply chain.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards to mitigate operational and legal risks.
- Lead and mentor a team of professionals responsible for container logistics operations.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to foster a high-performance culture.
