**JOB PURPOSE**

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) aircraft and train RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

The role is Responsible for ensuring the effective delivery and integration of Contract Deliverables in order to enable the achievement of the Key Performance Measures of the Salam Support Solution. Freedom of action to identify and define change projects to recover / improve performance in order to drive increased output performance and / or increase solution efficiency / resilience.***

**JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**

This critical Programme Delivery role is responsible for ensuring that contract obligations are met, underpinning delivery of the Salam support solution. Reporting directly to the Head of Contract, this role will work as part of the integrated project team responsible for managing the performance, delivery and design of the SSS Contract.

The job holder will be responsible to the SSS Head of Contract for the following:

- Lead the Contract team to ensure effective delivery of Salam Support Solution Phase 4 contractual obligations whilst ensuring that governance, change and configuration management processes are established and maintained to effectively integrate and deliver the contractual requirements.
- Ensure an effective performance review process is established and maintained in order to drive effective delivery of contractual obligations. Work collaboratively with peers and members of senior management to identify and manage performance issues / risks / opportunities against the relevant areas of the Annex B, and where necessary capture change actions.
- Drive delivery of the end to end cash invoicing processes utilising performance indicators to help identify and mobilise appropriate change actions to avoid / mitigate issues.
- Ensure rigorous delivery of the contractual risk and opportunity register / review process whilst driving mitigation actions to fruition.
- Work collaboratively with the UK Contract team to drive performance and delivery of support enablers through the European consortium including technical support requests, capability insertion and change programmes.
- Supporting customer engagement on support solution issues and leading for specific targeted support projects, ensuring that the relevant customer stakeholders are effectively engaged and remain informed on scope, plans and progress.

**In order to achieve the above key responsibilities, the role will**:

- Be required to travel to other locations in KSA / UK / Europe to attend workshops, reviews and meeting.
- Involve significant internal and external collaboration to ensure that the SSS contract delivers the required obligations.
- Involve integrating multiple data inputs and providing a consolidated viewpoints to enable informed decision making on contract delivery.
- Involve reviewing with senior management key business issues and ensuring integrated actions are mobilised.
- Involve significant internal cross functional and cross business unit collaboration to realise project goals.
- Set and maintain standards and schedules for programme status reporting incl. issue, risk and opportunity management.
- Develop the PM capability within the programme team.
- Support delivery of governance commitments***
