**Physical Education & Health Teacher [Short-Term] (English Speaking)**

**Employment Criteria**:
**Basic Qualifications**:

- Licensed Educator.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education.
- Minimum 2 years experience in a K-12 school.
- Minimum 2 years experience in physical education

- Creates a caring, respectful student-centered environment conducive to developmentally appropriate learning
- Systematically gathers, analyzes, and utilizes all relevant data to measure and facilitate student academic progress.
- Communicates standards, objectives, and expectations for learning.
- Prioritizes learning strategies aligned with AIS-R’s Learning Principles.
- Assesses student learning with clear criteria that are aligned with standards.
- Partners with families through ongoing communication, conferences, and the accurate reporting of student progress honoring divisional reporting timelines/expectations.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a bachelor's degree and valid teaching certificate (North American or equivalent certification preferred).
- A proven record of excellence in prior teaching posts for a minimum of two years.
- Fluency in English.

**Reports to**:Designated Principal(s)

**Terms of Employment**:Salary is assigned from the Faculty salary schedule; the contract term is 190 days.

**Learning and Growth**:Performance is appraised through the AIS-R Professional Learning and Growth Model and by school policy by the designated Supervisor.
