Job Summary

Qoyod is experiencing rapid growth and needs an experienced and dynamic Chief of Staff (COS) to provide essential support to our CEO and leadership team. The COS will play a crucial role in aligning organizational efforts with our vision, values, and strategic plans, ensuring effective communication, and driving impactful growth in our fast-paced startup environment.

The Chief of Staff is responsible for:

- Strategy Implementation: Transform and operationalize the CEO's vision into actionable strategies to drive company growth and innovation in the field of cloud-based accounting solutions.
- OKR Leadership: Lead and implement Objective Key Results (OKRs) aligned with the CEO's business vision, monitoring and reporting on performance regularly to ensure strategic objectives are met.
- Stakeholder Meetings: Prepare and facilitate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and investors, advising on prioritization, and ensuring productive outcomes to support company objectives.
- Communication Management: Develop and maintain effective communication systems, including reports, memos, presentations, and meetings, to ensure alignment across the organization and facilitate transparency and collaboration.
- Initiative Execution: Collaborate closely with the CEO on new initiatives, overseeing and improving current business streams to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Investor Relations: Manage investor relations activities on behalf of the CEO, including preparing presentations and reports to communicate company progress and performance to investors.
- Organizational Development: Solicit feedback from team members, identify areas for improvement in people, processes, and technology, and recommend solutions to drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
- CEO Representation: Draft communications on behalf of the CEO and represent the CEO at external events when required, promoting the company's brand and vision to stakeholders and partners.
- Management Reporting: Prepare and present regular management reports, highlighting key areas of progress and opportunities for improvement to support informed decision-making.

The required skills for the Chief of Staff:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Project Management certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational excellence, business strategy, or executive communications, with prior experience as a Chief of Staff or in managing board relationships preferred.
- Previous experience in strategy within a technology company or startup environment is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with high-level decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving innovation and growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and operations management skills.
- Proficiency with Google workspace required; familiarity with presentation tools and board management software is a plus.
