The CH-47F FE is responsible for monitoring the aircraft systems, diagnosing and eliminating any problems that may arise, and ensuring that all maintenance faults have been recorded and properly corrected in accordance with service guidance. These duties will be performed day and night as well as under VMC and IMC The CH-47F will also perform aircraft maintenance, repairs, modifications, and inspections in accordance with approved methods and practices per specific Technical Manuals, Operator Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Checklist, and any other directives pertinent to the environment. The CH-47F FE will also provide technical direction and training to the Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command when needed.

**Duties/responsibilities**:

- Perform flight crew work supporting heavy multi-engine aircraft, and providing assistance to the pilot in the overall operation of the aircraft.
- Conduct APU operations, perform crew duties during a maintenance test flight (MTFs), and maintenance operational checks (MOCs).
- Performs CH-47F maintenance tasks and duties as required using Technical Manuals, Operator Manuals, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and any other directives pertinent to the environment.
- Remove, inspect, troubleshoot and install aircraft system and subsystem components and subcomponents to include, but not limited to, engines, rotors, gearboxes, transmissions, flight controls, and hydraulics.
- Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance activities to include PMS, servicing and lubrication, and MOC/MTF support functions.
- Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools/test equipment, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE).
- Prepares, reviews, and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records.
- Uses common measuring tools, measuring gauges, and alignment fixtures.
- Provides On-the-Job Training (OJT), coaching, and mentoring to Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command (RSLAC) personnel in all aspects of aircraft maintenance activities.
- Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.
- Other tasks as directed by the PC Manager and Maintenance Lead.

**Independence**: Performs within the broad guidelines of duties and responsibilities with a significant choice of methods. Retains the authority to select and implement goals and objectives within the execution of duties and responsibilities.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**: Direct interface with the PC office, responsible for the dissemination of maintenance activities within designated maintenance areas.

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Previous designation as a CH-47 Flight Engineer (NRCM)
- 500 hours CH-47 Flight time, 200 hours as FE
- Four (4) years of experience as a CH-47 NRCM required.
- Eight (8) years experience as an aircraft mechanic on CH-47 series.
- Current and qualified in CH47F aircraft (refresher training may be provided).
- Graduate of a US Military aviation maintainers course or civilian equivalent training and experience.
- Demonstrated past performance and experience in maintenance on CH-47 Aircraft.
- Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms, and other aircraft-related documentation.
- Proficient in MS Office software.
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.
- Possess a valid issued driver's license.
- Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hire

**SKILLS/EXPERIENCE PREFERENCES**:

- 1000 hours CH-47 flight time / 350 hours as FE
- FAA A&P certified

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

HS diploma or equivalent required.

**EDUCATION PREFERENCES**:

- Associate degree or higher.
- US Military or civilian equivalent rotary wing aviation Technical Inspector experience.
- FAA A&P certificate.
- CH-47 Flight Engineer Instructor Course Graduate

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (Certifications, Etc.)
- Current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) third-class Medical Certificate.
- US Citizenship required.
- Should Executive Order 14042 be reinstated, proof of COVID-19 vaccination as defined by the order or an approved accommodation will be required
