Job Description
The Fabricator in the Geotechnical Department is responsible for constructing and assembling equipment and structures used in geotechnical projects. This role ensures high-quality fabrication while adhering to safety and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components.
- Use welding, cutting, and machining tools to build and assemble structures.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet project requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fabrication or welding preferred.
- 5 years of experience in metal fabrication, preferably in geotechnical or construction settings.
- Proficient in using fabrication tools and machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
