**Job Summary**

Responsible for the care of patients in accordance with the ethics of the medical profession and the laws and customs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia within experience and training. Provides consultations when needed and high-quality care to all patients in accordance with hospital policy and procedure. Highly trained in modern aspects of Pediatric Intensivist. Leads Pediatric Intensivist care team and utilizes his/her knowledge and experience for the best interest of his/her patients

**Mandatory **education and licensure**
- Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree or its equivalent from a recognized medical school
- High Medical Degree such as (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American Board or Canadian, Fellowship, MRCP, MD, etc.) in Pediatric or its equivalent internationally recognized qualifications
- Subspecialty, Fellowship Certificate, or its equivalent internationally recognized high medical qualifications is an essential requirement that is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- A valid professional license to practice the specialty in the country of origin and from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
- Current valid certification of Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or obtaining that within 6 months of commencement of employment

**Mandatory **Professional Experience**
- Minimum of (3) years of professional experience in the practice of the specialty after obtaining a High Medical Degree

- Teaching; to demonstrate skills required for educational training to medical students, and professionals
- Research; to demonstrate a proven ability and track record of engagement in research relating to the specialty
