**Responsibilities**:
1- Making sure the ship’s crew complies with maritime laws, international treaties, and other regulations
- 2- Conducting safety inspections of the ship and crew facilities to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
3- Managing all aspects of the crew’s health and safety, including training programs for new members of the crew and emergency response procedures during accidents.
4- Monitoring weather conditions and communicating with other ships in the area to ensure safe navigation.
5- Supervising deckhands to ensure they are performing their duties safely and efficiently. 6- Maintaining logs of information such as ship movements and cargo activities.
7- Preparing reports on weather conditions, hazards, and other information that may affect the safety of the ship or crew.
8- Coordinating with the ship’s captain to ensure the proper functioning of the vessel.
9- Follow the regular maintenance for bridge and deck along with related equipment.
10- Prepare tugboat for towing other vessels.
11- Fully familiar with towing connection.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Jeddah: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
