**Role Responsibility**

Ø Serving food and beverages in a professional manner with high levels of customer service

Ø Setting and cleaning tables and service areas

Ø Dealing with customer complaints

Ø Checking with customers to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems

Ø Escorting customers to their tables

Ø Explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods

Ø Presenting menus to customers and answering questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request

Ø Removing dishes and glasses from tables or counters, and take them to the kitchen for cleaning

Ø Serving food and/or beverages to patrons; prepare and serve specialty dishes at tables as required

Ø Stocking service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
