**Primary Responsibilities**

In the role of **GIS Specialist**, we'll count on you to:

- Facilitate the GIS component of significant projects in our diverse, collaborative environment in Saudi Arabia
- Provide strategic guidance to clients by addressing their requirements to deliver effective GIS solutions
- Efficiently manage multiple tasks simultaneously, strictly adhering to timeframe, scope, budget and schedule, while ensuring the highest quality standards in project deliverables
- Proactively work with multidisciplinary teams to seamlessly integrate GIS into project workflows and foster effective collaboration
- You will lead the development and implementation of GIS standards and best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of our geospatial data capabilities
- You will provide expert support and guidance in the management of geospatial data and be responsible for the design and management of geodatabases to optimise data efficiency.
- Accurately perform geoprocessing/analysis tasks and oversee the geospatial data review process to ensure accuracy and reliability

**Qualifications**

**Qualifications**:

- You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS/Geospatial Services, Geography, Computer Science or a related technical field with a focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant environmental discipline is a strong advantage as it reflects a well-rounded expertise
- You should have at least two years of practical experience as a GIS technician and a proven track record of success in this field
- Exceptional command of written and spoken English as an essential skill
- Possess extensive expertise in GIS and be able to compile, develop and maintain databases, reports and maps for comprehensive project support
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills consistent with HDR Inc's commitment to excellence in collaboration
- Able to multitask effectively, be flexible, travel and work independently to meet project needs.
- You have strong teamwork skills, initiative and self-motivation, and a willingness to learn and grow in our dynamic environment
