***: The MENA IT Manager is responsible for the planning, installation and management of all IT systems, Enterprise Applications, IT personnel and IT projects in the MENA region, ensuring company requirements are met. They are responsible for ensuring a highly motivated Information Technology team successfully achieves their operational objectives on budget and schedule.

The MENA IT Manager must fulfill their administrative responsibilities and operate in accordance with the Company’s Procedures, Policies, HSE Standards and Quality Management System.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Firm grasp of IT infrastructure and operations best practices including Voice, Server, Network and data center systems.
- Ensure compliance and oversight of Perma-Pipe’s Cyber Security systems.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Monitor systems to ensure the highest level of performance and ensure key operational metrics are met.
- Co-ordination with telecom providers for Landlines, Internet lines and Mobile Services for support, Renewals and resolving issues.
- Oversees & ensures response to all service desk activities.
- Oversees the management of the company’s legacy regional Business Systems and for the implementation and management of the new Manufacturing ERP system.
- Interacts with internal clients on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
- Manages the purchasing of all software, hardware, and other IT supplies and resultant vendor relationships.
- Ensures that company assets are maintained, managed, and tracked.
- Manage and coordinate all MENA IT projects to meet company needs.
- Partner with and influence stakeholders to promote simplification, standardization, and innovation.
- Assists with planning budgets and ensuring budgets, goals and objectives are met.
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their roles.
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
- Participate in internal and external audits as required.
- Responsible for planning budgets and ensuring budgets are adhered to using appropriate cost control measures.
- Will be required to occasionally work outside core office hours to provide IT systems support as required.

**WORKING RELATIONSHIPS/REPORTING**:This position interacts with all levels of the organization and will report to the MENA Region Financial Controller.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**:
**EDUCATION**:Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.

**EXPERIENCE**:

- At least 5 years’ IT Management experience with demonstrated team management.
- At least 10 years of experience in supporting multi-site office IT environments.
- Knowledge of servers, virtualized environments, networks, data organization, and both hardware and software systems.
- Knowledge of managing and supporting Microsoft O365 tenants and associated systems.
- Knowledge of managing and supporting Microsoft Azure.
- Demonstratable knowledge of Cyber Security systems and principles
- Demonstratable experience in managing Business Systems and ERP Systems.
- Experience in supporting accounting systems and processes.
- Experience in supporting Manufacturing and Supply Chain operations.
- Supervisory experience

**QUALIFICATION/ REQUIREMENT**:

- Knowledge of and experience in supporting ERP’s, Infor’s CSI Syteline environment strongly desired
- Experience with designing business processes and ERP Implementation to improve finance and supply chain operations.
- Knowledge of system integration and reporting for ERPs like Infor CSI & Visual
- Database knowledge of MSSQL, MYSQL and MongoDB
- Knowledge of Reporting and Analytic tools
- Project management skills

S**UPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITES**:Will lead all IT departments in the MENA region.

**TRAVEL**: Will likely travel up to 25% of the time as required.

**EQUIPMENT TO BE USED**: Must be able to operate computer and other IT equipment as the job requires.

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**: Position is mostly performed at a desk and may require walking to users’ computers or IT systems to troubleshoot issues. May require lifting to 10 pounds. Requires manual agility sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers and other IT equipment as the job requires. Requires normal range of hearing and vision.

**MENTAL DEMANDS**: Must handle diverse work problems on a daily basis. Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure. Must relate and interact with people at all levels in the Company.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**: Works in a typical office setting.
