**Major Responsibilities & Duties performed**:

- Operate the Fork lift with extra care and safety as per the safe operations procedure of Fork Lift.
- Inspect the F/L physically and check the engine oil, hydraulic oil, engine coolant of Forklift daily before operating it.
- Use all possible safety measures while handling the billets.
- Always drive slowly and do not over speed while carrying the load.
- Know the SWL (Safe Working Load) of your FL prior to operate it and take extra care while lifting the weights equal to its SWL weight.
- Any abnormality found, to be reported immediately to the mobile work shop or to the immediate Supervisor. In case of non-availability of supervisor, park the FL at a safe place and remove the key and tag out the steering.
- To unload the billets from the trucks safely and stack them systematically with the help of helpers.
- To shift the billets and any other materials as per the instructions of Foreman/Supervisor.
- To display the billets for cutting and charging to mill.
- Charging to the Mills at charging grid according to the instructions of Supervisor.
- Removing the Production scrap from the mills from various areas and dump the same in the scrap yard.
- All jobs to be carried out in accordance to the ISO and CARES requirement.
- To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
- To follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
- To report damaged PPE unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
- To attend safety training planned for them.
- Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work.
